Notes:
Jack Elmo King was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1920, and went to high school and college in Glendale, California. After serving in the navy during World War II, King attended the Los Angeles Art Centre School. He then worked as a draftsman, painting in the off hours. He painted full time after retiring in 1970, and was active in North Dakota and Alberta, Canada. Jack King died in 1988, in California.
