ARTIST STATEMENT
My Motivation for this piece is to create an experience for the viewer that catches their eye, and holds it as their gaze moves around the piece. It is my intention for something new and exciting to be found with each glance, and for the piece to be aesthetically pleasing.
This piece is one out of a body of work where I am playing with complementary colours that are very similar in value. I am also playing with textures and edge differentiation.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
