Hasui Kawase was born in 1883 in Tokyo, Japan. He was one of modern Japan's most important and prolific woodblock artists. In 1956 he was named a Japanese Living National Treasure. He died in 1957, in Tokyo.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
