Hank Ouyang was born in 1951 in China, and immigrated to Regina, Saskatchewan in 1980. Ouyang participated in numerous music performances and art exhibitions, and was an enthusiastic promoter of Chinese culture in Regina. He was a musical director of Regina School of Chinese Studies, teaching traditional Chinese instruments. Hank Ouyang died in 2008, in Regina.
