Gunvor Olin-Gronqvist was born in 1928 in Espoo, Finland. She studied at the Institute of Industrial Art, graduating in 1951, and spent her entirel career at the Arabia factory in Finland, working in the Applied Art and Art Departments. Gunvor Olin-Gronqvist died in Helsinki in 2005.
