Guido Gambone is among the most influential modern Italian ceramists of the twentieth century. His work is distinguished by bold use of colours, brilliant glazes and sometimes playful shapes, often inspired by abstract art and the contemporary artistic movements of his time. Through his innovative approach to hand decoration and his ability to blend traditional techniques with a modern vision, Gambone’s creations are anchored in the history of modern ceramics. Today, his works are highly sought after for both their aesthetic beauty and their artisanal quality.
