Being sold on behalf of Prairie Mentoring Centre for Therapeutic Riding, with 90% of the winning bid going to this Saskatchewan charity.
Notes:
Gerry Metz was born in 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. He studied in Chicago before moving in 1971 to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was an instructor in oil painting and life drawing at the Phoenix Art Museum. As an artist he focused on nature and depiction of the life of pioneers, Native Americans, and ranch life. Gerry Metz died in 2018 in Cave Creek, Arizona.
