German Jaramillo-McKenzie was born in Colombia. He graduated from the University of Bogota with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 1985, and studied with Zhu Wei Min in Beijing, China in the late 1980s. Jaramillo-MacKenzie moved to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1989. There he was a studio assistant to famed artist Joe Fafard and taught at the Neil Balkwill Centre before moving to Victoria, British Columbia in 2017. His works can be found in the permanent collections of Crown Life Insurance, SGI, and Shurniak Art Gallery, among many others.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
