Notes:
Gerald Folster was born in 1955 and is an Ojibwa from the Brokenhead First Nation in Manitoba. In the early eighties he was a member of the Weegwas Printmaking Co-operative that was established at Brokenhead. His work is characterized by elongated figures and vibrant and unexpected colour combinations. He lives in the Scanterbury area north of Winnipeg.
