An important retrospective exhibition of the artist's work was held at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal from May 19 - September 25, 2016. This exhibition was the first devoted to the artist since his death in 2004. This oil on canvas is a fine and rare example of the artist's abstract expressionist period.
