SKNAC bio: Gail Adams was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. From the age of seven Adams took weekly formal art study and participated in art labs, studying with such established artists as Robert Bateman and Morten Solberg. She majored in art at the University of Alberta (Edmonton) and as a young adult she worked in illustration while still pursuing her own art. Adams furthered her study at Shepy National Art School and attended symposiums and workshops throughout North America. Around this time Adams began teaching weekend art classes, and after moving to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Adams opened the Gail Adams School of Art, eventually teaching hundreds of students. Adams often works in chalk pastel, employing her own meticulous techniques of layering the pastel on a suede board, producing fifteen to twenty original paintings each year. Adams has been recognized by many organizations for her humanitarian work, fundraising and donations, including the Saskatchewan Wildlife Artist Association, Junior Search & Rescue (California), Kidney Foundation of Saskatchewan. Gail Adams currently lives near Edmonton, Alberta.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
