Includes a copy of 1986 receipt from Craddock and Barnard (London UK). From the Gary Robertson Historical Print Collection (Regina). This image is also in the permanent collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Notes:
Franz Edmund Weirotter was born Innsbruck, Austria in 1733. He studied in Innsbruck, Mainz and Paris, and travelled to Italy. He also taught briefly at the Academy of Art in Vienna. Weirotter's works can be found in several important collections including Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Royal Academy (London), British Museum (London), Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and the Smithsonian Art Museum. Franz Edmund Weirotter died in Vienna in 1771.
