Francis Saint-Genies was born in Val Andre in Brittany, France in 1925. He is the great grandson of composer Charles Gounod, and there is a sort of sensual musicality to his figure work. Many feature what he has called "awakened dreams". Saint Genies has had individual and collective exhibitions in France, the United States, Switzerland, Germany and Sweden. His work appears in many French and foreign collections.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
