Eugene Bejot was born in Paris in 1931 and studied in that city at Academie Julien. His skill as an etcher was apparent early on and over the years his work became inextricably linked to the city of Paris. He created many etchings of the Seine, as well as the quays and buildings of the city. He was widely admired in England as well as in France. In 1908 he was elected to THe Royal Society of Painters-Etchers and Engravers in London and in 1912 was appointed a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour in Paris.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
