Includes a copy of 1984 receipt from Craddock and Barnard (London UK). From the Gary Robertson Historical Print Collection (Regina). This piece is also in the collection of the Hamburg Kunsthalle.
Notes:
Ernest Koltz was born in 1863 in Leipzig, Germany. He studied in Munich withr Franz von Defregger, and in Weimar with Carl Frithjof Smith. He was a devoted etcher, developing experimental techniques. He died around 1925, in Germany.
