San Francisco artist Emiko Oye creates bold and colorful jewelry with repurposed LEGO - both ready-to-wear and one-of-a-kind conceptual artworks. LEGO System in Denmark have endorsed her work. Oye has a BFA from Syracuse University. Her work has been shown in over 100 exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally, including solo shows at the San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design and Ombre Gallery, and can be found in the permanent collections the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Racine Art Museum. Publications that have featured her work include 21st Century Jewelry, On Jewellery, Marie Claire, American Craft, Modern Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and San Francisco Chronicle.
