Notes:
Dwayne Harty was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan in 1957 and began drawing scenes of prairie wildlife at the age of three. By his kindergarten years the family moved to Regina, Saskatchewan. In his quest to improve his skills he spent his summers working with Clarence Tillenius at the Okanagan School of the Arts. At age 20 Harty moved to New York City to study at the Art Student's League of New York.
