Dobroslav Halata was born in 1943 in Metylovic, Czech Republic, and studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague from 1968 to 1974. He has had exhibitions of his art throughout the Czech Republic as well as Denmark, Germany, the USA and France.
