Notes:
Davidee Sappa was born in the Inuit village of Umiujaq, northern Quebec, in 1930, and also lived in Kuujjuaraapik, Quebec. His works can be found in such public collections as the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Museum of Anthropology (Vancouver British Columbia), McMichael Canadian Art Collection (Kleinsburg, Ontario) and the Smithsonian Institute (Washington, DC).
