David Hengen was born near Windthorst, SK. Having been raised on a farm he had a great appreciation of nature that influenced his desire to capture in paint what he observed and it naturally followed that his choice of subjects for his paintings would be prairie scenes and birds. He began painting around 1975 and took many classes to improve his craft, including with A.W Davey, Carl Schlademan, Michael Lonechild and others. David Hengen's paintings can be found in the USA, New Zealand, Korea, Japan and Switzerland, as well as in collections across Canada.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
