Notes:
Clivelon Totan was born at a summer camp near Igloolik, Nunavut in 1979, where his family lived on the land, hunting caribou and walrus. In 1997, Totan attended Nunavut Arctic College, in Iqaluit. He began carving in 1999, taught by his father, carver Mark Totan. Clivelon Totan's animals and Inukshuks are carved from soapstone which is sourced from around the world, often exhibiting a range of colours and characteristics. Clivelon Totan died in October, 2018.
