Note: The Huxwhukw is a crest of the Kwakiutl tribe, and one of three mythological cannibal birds. The Huxwhukw (or Huk-Huk) is generally depicted with a very long chisel-shaped beak, which according to folklore it uses to crack open the skulls of its victims. Depictions often feature: black, red and white clothing; flared nostrils; skull imagery; and often combine several bird heads. These elements are all present in this fine example.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
