Carolyn Joyce has lived in Regina all her life and she began taking painting classes with Betty (Barbour) Robinson in 1987. She has since taken classes and workshops with instructors from all over North America. Carolyn Joyce is a member of the Art Gallery of Regina, The MacKenzie Art Gallery and Brushworks Art Guild in 1994.
