Notes:
Carole E. Down was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was raised mostly in Toronto, Ontario. Since moving to Regina, Saskatchewan in the early 1980s, Down has studied with such notable Saskatchewan artists as Donna Kreikle, Michael Lonechild, Bob Millard, Ward Schell, Beth Gaffney, Vern Reese and Catherine Macaulay. And she has been a member of the Brushworks Art Guild (Regina).
