With the Peabody Studio, Certificate of Authenticity, signed by R. Clements to the wood backboard;
With two partial unidentified red wax collector seal's to the wood backboard;
Ex. Collection Jack Adler, the proprietor of an antique shop in London, England until 1928;
Acquired by Benjamin Bennet-Alder, the brother of Jack Adler;
The painting travelled to Canada when the family emigrated to Canada in 1928;
By descent to his son, Noel Bennet-Alder. Toronto;
