Brian McKee (1977-2018) was an American Contemporary photographer and visual historian who ventured to convey unique and important views of select aspects of international history. He is known for finding his true subjects, the detritus of civilization within architecture and landscapes to seek and explore the way we define and relate to their existence. Afghan, C was part of a larger body of work that focused on examining and visualizing both the current and past social and political atmospheres of countries around the world. McKee’s photography has been exhibited internationally at various art fairs and is part of many private and public art collections including the Margulies Collection in Miami and the collection of the City of Munich Germany.
