Bev Caldwell was born in 1935 in Yorktown, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the Saskatoon City Hospital School of Nursing, and after her nursing career she studied art and literature at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon) graduating with a BFA in 1985. Caldwell specialized in painting in oils and acrylics, often depicting still lifes. Bev Caldwell died 2019, in Saskatoon.
