From the Briercrest College Art Collection. 100% of the hammer price goes to the Briercrest College Scholarship Fund. This artwork has a 1998 certificate of appraisal with a fair market evaluation of $900.
Notes:
Bernice Luftie Sorge was born in Truro, Nova Scotia in 1943. She has travelled, lived and worked in many parts of Canada and beyond, settling in The Eastern Townships of Quebec in the 1970s. She creates original prints using found material such as leaves, plants and weeds as a basis for expression. Her work has been exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, including in Paris, Tokyo and New York City.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
