Lot description - from the online catalogue*

Provenance:
From the estate of Rick Harvey (1941-2021), professor in the English Department of the University of Regina for 40 years, whose art collection focused on Saskatchewan paintings and ceramics, often from artists he knew personally.
Notes:
Bernard Zaharik studied pottery at the U of R Extension program under Helen James and Donovan Chester. While many of his pieces are hand built from coloured porcelains that he mixes himself, his latest pieces include multi-glazed functional ware. Many pieces have a nature or flower theme often including orchids, dahlias, calla lilies, oriental poppies, etc.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
