Ben Stahl was an American artist, illustrator and author. He showed talent at a young age, winning a scholarship to the prestigious Chicago Art Institute at the age of 12. He later taught at the Art Institute as well as at the American Academy of Art, the Art Students League of New York and at various universities. His work was featured in numerous publication, including, among others, The Saturday Evening Post, Cosmopolitan and Women's Home Companion. Stahl also produced advertising artwork for various companies and posters for several movies. He also served as an official U.S. Air Force artist.
