This print is from the XI Commonwealth Games Print Portfolio. It is also part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Canada, the Museum of New Zealand and the Scotland National Galleries.
Notes:
Bea Maddock was born in Hobart, Tasmania. Maddock is best known as a printmaker, in which area she has had a profound impact in Australia, combining printing with encaustic painting and installation art to explore the natural environment, Aboriginal art, Australia, and Australian history.
