Notes:
Arnold Mosley was born in 1941 in Beaverlodge, Northern Alberta. His grandparents had homesteaded on the Wapiti River south of Beaverlodge, and Mosley grew up on a mixed farm, raising horses and cattle, and trapping during the winter months. He is a self-taught artist, and started out as a draftsman, working for a time with the British Columbia Ministry of Forests, which took him to Merritt, British Columbia, where he continues to reside. He began painting full-time in 1988. He has been "cowboying" as he calls it, for over half a century, and literally lives what he paints. "You have to be able to get out there and absorb yourself in what the cowboys are doing," he says, "Experience for yourself those days when it is so cold the only warm spot is your saddle seat."
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
