From the Briercrest College Art Collection. 100% of the hammer price goes to the Briercrest College Scholarship Fund. This artwork has a 1998 certificate of appraisal with a fair market evaluation of $1000.
Notes:
Arnold Shives was born in Vancouver in 1943. His love of nature developed from his activities as an avid climber, hiker, and camper and is evident in his work. Examples of his work can be found in many collections both in Canada and internationally, including the Tate Gallery in London and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
