From the Briercrest College Art Collection. 100% of the hammer price goes to the Briercrest College Scholarship Fund. This artwork has a 1998 certificate of appraisal with a fair market evaluation of $1000.
Notes:
Ann Beam was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1944. She taught at the Art Gallery of Ontario in the 1960s and 1970s. She has worked extensively in a number of genres including ceramics, watercolour etching, canvas and ink on mulberry paper. She resides in West Bay, Manitoulin Island, Ontario where she also runs an art gallery.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
