Anka Mayer was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1956 and studied at the Academies of Fine Art in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been featured in solo shows in Europe, South America and Canada. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.
