Created as an ex libris bookplate for Hanneke Klaver.
Notes:
Ank Spronk was born in 1919 in Arnhem, Netherlands. She studied in Arnhem with artists Gijs Jacobs van den Hof, Frans Zwolle jJr and Hendrik Valk, graduating with a degree in graphics and illustration. But it was only in the early 1970s that Spronk turned her attention fully to her artwork, first with masterful etchings in black and white, before evolving into larger and more colourful etchings and other print techniques. And Spronk died in 2010.
