From the Briercrest College Art Collection. 100% of the hammer price goes to the Briercrest College Scholarship Fund. This artwork has a 1998 certificate of appraisal with a fair market evaluation of $1000.
Notes:
Andrew Kwiecinski was born in Poland in 1948 and was already an established artist when he emigrated to Canada in 1981. His great love of nature is impressively captured by his watercolours, with a vibrant use of light and colour. He was also a respected conservator involved in many heritage restorations across Canada. He died in Kitchener Ontario in 2009.
