Allyson Van Impe was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After spending her formative years in Portland, Oregon, her family moved back to Saskatoon where Van Impe graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. A landscape artist, Van Impe has a background in fibre art and now works mostly in acrylics. Allyson Van Impe currently lives and works in Pender Island, British Columbia.
