Includes a copy of 1982 receipt from Craddock and Barnard (London UK) stating that "The above are original artists' etchings, drypoint and lithograph over 50 years old". From the Gary Robertson Historical Print Collection (Regina).
Notes:
Henri-Alfred Darjou was born in Paris in 1832. He was a painter and draughtsman, and exhibited first at the Salon of 1853, and frequently exhibited genre paintings there. However Darjou is possibly best known for his drawings made for various publications. Henri-Alfred Darjou died in Paris in 1874.
