SKNAC bio: Zane Wilcox grew up on a farm near Stalwart, Saskatchewan. He received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999, and an MFA from the University of Regina in 2012. Wilcox has exhibited widely throughout Canada, and won such awards as the Saskatchewan Premier's Prize for excellence in craft in 2009, the Jane Turnbull Evans Award for Innovation in Craft from the Saskatchewan Arts Board (2011), the Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award from the International Sculpture Centre (2011). He has exhibited at the Mackenzie Art Gallery (Regina), Mysteria Gallery (Regina), SCC Gallery (Saskatoon), Darrell Bell Gallery (Saskatoon) and the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery. His work can be found in the public collections of the Mackenzie Art Gallery (Regina), University of Regina, the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, and the Saskatchewan Arts Board. Zane Wilcox lives and works in Regina, Saskatchewan.
