Zane Wilcox received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999, and an MFA from the University of Regina in 2012. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Wilcox has exhibited widely throughout Canada, and won such awards as the Saskatchewan Premier's Prize for excellence in craft in 2009, the Jane Turnbull Evans Award for Innovation in Craft from the Saskatchewan Arts Board (2011), the Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award from the International Sculpture Centre (2011).
