Yolande A. Jones was born in 1919. She studied at the Alberta College of Art (Calgary) and took classes with H.G. Glyde and W.J. Phillips. She was a member of the Group Art Society of Calgary and the Calgary Sketch Club and the Federation of Canadian Artists (Calgary), and her work has been exhibited at the Muttart Gallery (Edmonton), Red Deer Museum, Bowman Centre (Lethbridge), Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History, Kensintgon Paperworks Gallery (Calgary) among many other venues. Yolande Jones died in 2007 in Calgary.
