SKNAC bio: Victor Tiede was born in 1955 in Regina, Saskatchewan. A musician and artist, Tiede's wood sculptures were exhibited widely across Canada including the McMichael Gallery (Kleinburg, Ontario), Muttart Gallery (Calgary, Alberta), Nouveau Gallery (Regina), Prairie Gallery (Grand Prairie, Alberta), and Canadian Craft Museum (Vancouver). His work can be found in several permanent collections including the New Museum of Modern Art in Glasgow, Scotland. Victor Tiede died in Regina, Saskatchewan in May, 2021.
