Tony Wilson was born in Alberta in 1944. He attended the Alberta College of Art in the late 1960s and moved to Ontario in the early 1970s. He has taught at Rochdale College and Fanshawe College (London Ontario). By 1980s he returned to Toronto to teach printmaking at Ryerson University, and joined the ChromaZone collective. Wilson was a gifted photographer, printmaker and painter. His works was exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Ontario and internationally. Tony Wilson died in 1991, in Toronto, Ontario.
