Tim Paul was born in 1950 in Esperanza Inlet, Vancouver Island. He is a Nuu-Chah-Nulth artist specializing in carving and print-making. He was senior carver at the Royal British Columbia Museum until 1992. HIs work can be found in many public collections, including Canadian Museum of Civilization (Hull, Quebec) and the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa).
