Sueellen Ross was born in 1941 in the United States. She studied at the University of California Berkeley and the School of Visual Arts, New York. Ross has been a full-time artist since 1980, specializing in depicting domestic animals and wildlife. Her mediums of choice are India ink,, watercolour and coloured pencil, often combined in mixed media artworks. Ross has won many awards for her art and had many solo exhibitions, including at the Whatcome Museum of History (Bellingham WA) and the Frye Art Museum (Seattle). She currently resides n Seattle.
