Stuart Anthony Wilson was an artist and art instructor in Montreal, Quebec. He taught at McGill University, including the influential Sketching School, with Arthur Lismer from 1948 to 1954, and then again from 1965 to 1981 (with Gerry Tondino). Stuart Wilson had graduated from McGill's School of Architecture in 1943, and since 1991 the university has offered the Stuart A. Wilson Memorial Prize for the best portfolio from the Sketching School.
