Sharyn Olfert was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She teaching school in Manitoba and Ontario, Olfert took art courses through university and college extension programs and workshops. She has since taught art classes and workshops. Olfert's paintings have been exhibited across Western Canada in solo and group shows. Sharyn Olfert has been a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists for many years.
