Randy Fehr is a self-taught Canadian artist best known for his paintings, sculptures, and prints depicting North American animals in dramatic wilderness scenes. Born in 1948 in Northern Alberta, Canada, he spent his youth in relative isolation on farms in Alberta. It was here, while wandering in forests and hills that he developed an acute observation of the animals living there. Fehr was awarded the Canada 125 Commemorative Award for his substantial contribution to Canadian culture. Randy Fehr lives and works in Crowsnest Pass, AB.
