Peter and Traudl Markgraf developed their innovative silk screen process, of melding and shading with multiple colours, in their studio in Hudson, Quebec in the 1970s. They then moved to the Sunshine Coast north of Vancouver, British Columbia, and for over a decade devotedly created silkscreen depictions of the west coast.
