Neville Clarke was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1959 and immigrated to Canada in 1974. He is an Honours graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design and has exhibited widely in solo and group shows throughout Canada, including at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection (Kleinburg), the Art Gallery of Mississauga, the Triangle Gallery (Calgary) and the Nova Scotia Archives, Halifax among others. He served as President of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour from 2001-2003 and is the Founder and President of the Society of African Canadian Artists. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections including the Art Gallery of Peel, the City of Toronto Archives, the Thames Art Gallery and the collection of HRH the Prince of Wales.
